Long Weekend in Bangkok

Just a stopover really, to finish up and get my bearings before
taking off again. Think I got enough of Bangkok when I stayed here in September, so I am headed for one of the quieter, less populated islands tomorrow morning.
Said I wanted a lonely beach somewhere to the travel agent.
How about 'Lonely Beach' then? she says.
After the constant noise and urban chaos, a few days on a lonely beach sounds just about right...

turned out to be a bit of false advertising- nothing lonely about this beach- mores the pity.
going back to cambodia tomorrow, to try my luck in a place called sihanoukville.
